I never thought about light and lighting solutions until I bought my own house and made a working area in my basement. When I was still living with my parents and after that when I was renting apartments with roommates, I never actually thought about the light bulbs and mounts for them because I was busy thinking about a million other things such as college, girls, my car and so on.
However, now that I am a home owner and that I have to pay my own electric bills alone and for the whole house, I have started thinking about ways to cut down on power use, and one of the first things that I considered was my lighting solution. Ever since I had heard about these new Gu10 lights that people started using, I wanted to take action in that direction and install them in my house.
I have heard only good things about them and not only from people who install Gu10 mounts and light bulbs (because of course they are going to push their own product), but also from my friends who use them in their homes. They say that Gu10 mount lights, especially when they are with LED light bulbs, save much power and thus they reduce both your carbon footprint and your electric bill. Also, they have a light which is much more pleasant to the eye than both the regular light bulb which tends to be too yellow and the neon bulbs which somehow seem to be unnaturally white.
